Mount Pauanui, Coromandel Peninsula, Aotearoa New Zealand

Pauanui means “big pāua”. Climbing onto the back of this colossal mollusc opened a view across the harbour, with Mount Paku rising above Tairua and the long spit of Pauanui reaching out towards it.
